The warm weather of spring and summer is the reason many couples choose to have their wedding during this time. If you are busy planning and preparing for your own wedding, you may feel a bit overwhelmed with the list of things that need to be taken care of before the big day. Why not cross one of those things off your list with a beautiful personalized cake server set?
The cutting of the wedding cake is a classic tradition that a new bride and groom will remember forever. Couples take their time picking out the perfect wedding cake and deserve a special cake server set to cut and serve their beautiful cake. A personalized cake server set is the perfect way for a new bride and groom to make that first memorable cut of their wedding cake. After the wedding, the set can be used year after year to celebrate anniversaries.
Cake server sets are not only for weddings. A silver cake server set is a great gift for a birthday or an anniversary. Since silver is the traditional gift for a 25th anniversary, it is ideal as a 25th anniversary gift, a 25th birthday gift, or for any other special occasion. A gold cake server set is a perfect gift for a 50th wedding anniversary or a 50th birthday gift.
Any person or couple would be thrilled to receive a beautiful cake server set. Personalizing this thoughtful gift makes it unique and extra special. Personalize a cake server set for your own wedding, or give one as a gift for a wedding, birthday, anniversary, or any other special occasion.

Anniversaries are important events. They mark the years of your relationship and are a good time to reminisce over times past. Having an anniversary on Valentine’s Day is especially romantic and calls for a little extra TLC. While trinkets are always nice, sometimes it’s good to have something a little bit more substantial that can be given to the kids later or that can be displayed for friends and neighbors to admire.
If you are looking for an anniversary gift for your Valentine, the Heart Shaped Cake Knife and Server Set is great if you’re having a party. Available in gold or silver to suit any decor (or specific anniversary), the pieces are personalized with the message of your choice. A lasting and useful gift that can be handed down to future generations. This set is also a wonderful idea as an anniversary or wedding gift for friends and family members.

Choose the Anniversary Wooden Picture Frame if you want something that can be displayed. The frame is available in three sizes and can be customized to reflect the anniversary number of your choice and has room for a special message at the bottom as well.
Whatever kind of gift you are looking for, making it a personalized one will add an extra touch of love that will be appreciated by everyone who sees your present.

Cutting the Cake - Personalized Cake Knife and Server Sets

Cake serving sets are great gift ideas for weddings, anniversaries, birthdays, and many other special occasions and celebrations.
One of the traditions at a wedding is the cake cutting ceremony. Wedding cakes today range from simple white cakes to extravagant multi-
tiered cakes. No matter what kind of cake is present at the wedding reception, one thing is always certain. The bride and groom have to cut the cake and they will most likely need something to cut it with.
A great way for the newly married couple to cut the first piece of cake together is with a beautiful cake serving set. Either gold or silver serving sets are well suited for a wedding. A heart shaped server set can symbolize the love of the new couple. Not only will a cake serving set look elegant, but it is a gift that can be kept forever and used over and over again for years to come.
Anniversaries will be an especially great time for the couple to reuse their special set. Some couples choose to follow the custom of saving the top tier of their wedding cake
to enjoy together on their first wedding anniversary. Imagine how a newlywed couple could look back and remember their wedding day and use their personalized cake server set on their first anniversary.
Saving a part of the wedding cake for a year may not be the most practical tradition. It probably tastes how you would imagine a one year old cake to taste. You can try to wrap it up as best you can and freeze it, or instead, you could order a small cake that is similar to your wedding cake and have it ready on your first anniversary. This way you can still celebrate this tradition and have a delicious, fresh cake to enjoy.
Cutting the cake is typically followed by the bride feeding a piece of cake to the groom and the groom to the bride. Some couples may even go as far as smashing the cake in each other’s faces. After spending all that time and money on the perfect dress, your hair, and makeup, would you really want to have cake smashed in your face? I can’t say that I would want it to happen to me, but I think it might be funny to see at someone else’s wedding. Some people may even see this as disrespectful, since the bride and groom feeding each other a piece of their wedding cake is a symbol of the love and respect a couple has for each other. It all depends on the couple and what they decide is right for them.
