They say that if you’re lucky enough to be Irish, that you’re lucky enough. While I think that that is true in part, I also believe that you can never be too lucky. If you know someone who is lucky enough to be Irish (or who is a fan of all things Celtic), then you have a multitude of gift options for what to give them on St. Patrick’s Day.

While a personalized gift is always a good idea, giving something that can be connected to your heritage can be even better. Better still is a gift which combines the two.

For such a perfect present, look at the . The glossy piano wood base draws the eye and the engraved glass arch with its inspirational message and the blessing of your choice will thrill all. So spread the love as well as the lucky and you’ll never be at a loss for what to give.

Lucky 4 Leaf Clovers

By Lori | August 2, 2007

image Have you ever found a four leaf clover? Your odds of finding one are about 1 in 10,000. They are a rare occurrence found among the common 3 leaf clover, or shamrock, which occasionally produces a fourth leaf. There are other plants that may be mistaken for true four leaf clovers. These plants always have four leaves. A real four leaf clover is a mutation from the trifolium repens plant and typically has a smaller fourth leaf than the other three leaves.

Superstition holds that finding one will bring good luck. Ancient druids believed that four leaf clovers had a great value and considered them a sign of luck. Many people today share this belief. In 1620, the English author and politician, Sir John Melton wrote that “If a man walking in the fields finds any four-leaved grass, he shall in a small while after find some good thing.”

Legend holds that each leaf of a four leaf clover has a special meaning. The first leaf is said to represent hope, the second faith, the third love, and the fourth luck.

Do you feel that a four leaf clover or other good luck charm or symbol has ever brought you luck? Maybe you have a lucky horseshoe hanging in your home or your own special object that has brought you good luck. Are you in love and do you feel that LUCK brought you two together?
